PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — McNees Wallace & Nurick said it has added a 24-person education law group from Fox Rothschild, including 18 attorneys, and opened a new office in Plymouth Meeting to expand its presence in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The firm said the group will anchor the new office at 401 Plymouth Road and brings an established practice serving public K-12 schools, private institutions, and higher education clients across Pennsylvania.

McNees said the addition increases its total workforce to more than 340 professionals, including more than 170 attorneys.

Attorney Jeffrey Sultanik, former chair of Fox Rothschild’s education law practice, will lead McNees’ expanded education group, which now includes 45 attorneys and professionals serving more than 125 education-sector clients.

The firm said the group provides legal services in areas including labor and employment, student and personnel matters, Title IX, litigation, real estate, construction, procurement, public finance, governance, and operations.

McNees Chair Brian Jackson said the firm had invested in infrastructure to support a larger team.

“Over the last several years, McNees intentionally invested in the technology and infrastructure necessary to support a group of this size,” Jackson said.

Sultanik said the move reflects the group’s long-term growth strategy and alignment with McNees’ existing practices.

“As our practice evolved, we recognized the need for a platform that could foster our growth over the next several decades,” Sultanik said.

The incoming group also includes four paralegals and two legal assistants, with plans to add additional staff in Plymouth Meeting, according to the firm.

McNees said the expansion combines its existing higher education-focused practice with the incoming team’s K-12 experience to provide a broader range of services.

The new office spans 10,324 square feet and includes 18 offices, two conference rooms, and shared workspaces.

The firm said it will also maintain a physical office in Reading, Berks County, and has signed a lease to relocate its Harrisburg operations to Camp Hill as part of broader expansion efforts in the region.
