The closures are set to begin Monday, July 14, and continue through Friday, July 18.

Meanwhile, westbound motorists will face lane restrictions from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges.

PennDOT urges drivers to plan for extra travel time and remain alert while moving through these work zones, as backups and delays are anticipated. The schedule for all activities is weather dependent.

These lane closures are part of an $83.6 million initiative to reconstruct and upgrade approximately 2.1 miles of the expressway. The project also includes replacing bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road, aiming to improve long-term safety and traffic flow on this heavily traveled corridor.
