PHILADELPHIA, PA — A new restaurant, Lucky Duck, opened March 18 at the Rivermark Northern Liberties development along the Delaware River waterfront, the project’s developers announced.
Jefferson Apartment Group and Haverford Development Partners said the restaurant occupies street-level space at 501 N. Columbus Blvd. within the mixed-use community.
Lucky Duck is operated by the team behind Libertee Grounds, a Philadelphia-based craft beer and mini-golf venue, in collaboration with the owner of Sidecar Bar and Grill.
The ownership group includes Priyank Rambhia, Sanil Shah and Kanay Patel of Libertee Grounds, along with Mike Metzger, executive chef and owner of Sidecar Bar and Grill.
According to the developers, the restaurant offers a menu that includes tavern-style dishes, small plates, and pizza, along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
The opening adds to the retail and restaurant component of Rivermark Northern Liberties, which includes 45,000 square feet of commercial space, the developers said.
The development also includes 470 rental units across two buildings and is anchored by a Sprouts Farmers Market.
Rivermark Northern Liberties is located at the end of Spring Garden Street near the Spring Garden SEPTA station and includes public waterfront space connected to the Delaware River Trail.
The developers said the project includes approximately 4 acres of publicly accessible outdoor space, including seating areas, lawns, and a public art installation known as River Soundings.
