RADNOR, PA — Lincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) has launched two fixed indexed annuities, Lincoln FlexAdvantage Income and Lincoln OptiBlend Income, aimed at expanding its retirement income offerings with features including guaranteed lifetime income and principal protection, the company announced.
The new products are designed to provide guaranteed growth for future income, lifetime income options and downside protection, while introducing an optional death benefit feature intended to preserve initial investment value for beneficiaries.
The annuities include a built-in income benefit, Lincoln ProtectedPay Select, which allows policyholders to convert a portion of savings into lifetime income payments that do not decrease.
They also offer an optional Estate Lock death benefit, which the company said is designed to protect the original investment amount for beneficiaries, regardless of withdrawals taken during the contract.
Lincoln said the products provide 100% downside protection while allowing participation in market-linked growth through indexed account options tied to the S&P and other strategies.
Investment options include exposure to the Capital Group Dividend Value ETF and a Nasdaq-linked strategy, offering access to dividend-focused and growth-oriented equities.
“Lincoln’s research shows that 92% of Americans are concerned about having enough income in retirement,” said Tim Seifert, senior vice president and head of retirement solutions distribution at Lincoln Financial.
The company is also introducing a fixed indexed annuity income calculator to help financial professionals and clients model income scenarios and projected outcomes.
Additional updates include digital tools that allow users to generate real-time account snapshots, including account activity and current values.
Lincoln Financial said the new products are part of its broader effort to expand retirement solutions and improve digital capabilities for financial professionals and clients.
