LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that lane closures are scheduled next week on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township as part of a major reconstruction project.
From Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, westbound traffic will face periodic lane restrictions between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastbound closures will take place during the same week between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga interchanges from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PennDOT cautioned motorists to plan for delays, noting that backups are likely in the work zones. All activities are dependent on weather conditions.
The effort is part of an $83.6 million project to rebuild and improve 2.1 miles of U.S. 422, including bridge replacements, between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
