PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced inlet repair work on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia, set to begin Friday, August 1.
The project will require weekday lane closures through Friday, August 8. The left lane of northbound I-95 will be closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between the Academy Road Interchange and the Bucks County line.
PennDOT advises motorists to plan for potential delays and allow extra travel time when passing through the area. The schedule is weather dependent. The repairs are part of routine maintenance aimed at ensuring road safety and infrastructure integrity along the heavily traveled corridor.
