Lane Closures Planned on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove for Ongoing Reconstruction

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that roadway reconstruction will continue next week on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, as part of a multi-year improvement project.

From Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, westbound U.S. 422 will see periodic lane closures between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Eastbound traffic will face lane restrictions between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga interchanges from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The construction is part of PennDOT’s $83.6 million project to reconstruct 2.1 miles of the expressway and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road.
