Lane Closures Planned on Girard Avenue Bridge in Philly

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced continued curb and sidewalk repairs on the Girard Avenue (U.S. 13) bridge over the Schuylkill River.

From Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 24, a weekday lane closure will be in place on eastbound Girard Avenue between 34th Street and 33rd Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

PennDOT advises motorists to expect delays, allow extra travel time, and use caution in the work zone. All work is weather dependent.
