MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction will continue next week on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road as part of a $10.8 million project designed to ease congestion and improve safety at two key intersections in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
From Wednesday, October 1, through Thursday, October 16, lane closures with flagging will be in place weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road, and on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and Core Creek Park.
The project includes a completed roundabout at Langhorne-Yardley Road and Bridgetown Pike, as well as ongoing improvements at Woodbourne Road that will continue through late 2025. Work involves roadway realignment, new traffic signals, turn lanes, widened approaches, stormwater upgrades, and pedestrian and bicycle enhancements.
