Lane Closure Scheduled for Inlet Repairs on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia

Traffic, flagging

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that weekday lane closures will be in effect on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia for inlet repair work near the Academy Road Interchange.

Beginning Monday, August 11, and continuing through Friday, August 29, the left lane of northbound I-95 will be closed daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between the Academy Road Interchange and the Bucks County line.

PennDOT advises motorists to plan for extra travel time when driving through the affected area, as delays and congestion are expected. The repair schedule is weather dependent and may be adjusted accordingly.
