KLAS Research Names Proscia Top Digital Pathology Software Vendor

Proscia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Proscia announced it received the highest overall performance score in the United States digital pathology software market in the 2026 report from KLAS Research, based on customer feedback from laboratories using its platform.

KLAS Research gave Proscia an overall score of 95.2 in the Digital Pathology 2026 report and identified the company as the most frequently considered vendor among laboratories evaluating digital pathology software.

The report also found that Proscia was the only vendor to receive grades of “A+” or “A” across six customer experience categories: culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationship, and value.

KLAS Research Vice President of Engagement Eder Lagemann said the findings reflect the company’s performance with its users.

“The feedback from Proscia’s customers reflects a high standard of excellence,” Lagemann said.

Proscia said its Concentriq platform supports digital pathology workflows and integrates with more than 15 laboratory information systems, including Epic Beaker.

The company said the platform also allows laboratories to connect with third-party artificial intelligence applications used in pathology analysis.

KLAS validated one of the largest known digital pathology deployments using Concentriq, with more than 300,000 annual case sign-outs within a single organization, according to the report.

Derek C. Welch, president and chief medical officer of PathGroup, said the platform has been integrated into his organization’s pathology operations.

“Concentriq is mission-critical to our laboratory,” Welch said.

Proscia said the recognition follows its designation as Best in KLAS for Digital Pathology in Europe earlier in 2026.

The company also said its software is used by life sciences organizations, including 16 of the world’s 20 largest pharmaceutical companies, to support pathology analysis and research activities.

Chief Executive Officer David West said the recognition reflects feedback from laboratories using the system.

“KLAS’ recognition is meaningful because it reflects the trust our customers place in us for critical patient diagnoses,” West said.
