Proscia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Proscia said a new KLAS Research report ranked it highest among digital pathology software vendors in the United States, based on customer feedback, and named it the most frequently considered company among laboratories evaluating digital pathology platforms.

In its Digital Pathology 2026 report, KLAS awarded Proscia an overall performance score of 95.2 and gave the company “A+” or “A” grades across six customer experience categories: culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationship and value, according to the company. Proscia said 100% of customers interviewed reported that its Concentriq platform is part of their long-term plans.

“The feedback from Proscia’s customers reflects a high standard of excellence,” Eder Lagemann, vice president of engagement at KLAS Research and co-author of the U.S. report, said in a statement.

Proscia said the U.S. recognition follows its designation as Global 2026 Best in KLAS for Digital Pathology in Europe, making it the first vendor to top KLAS rankings across multiple regions in the same year.

The company said KLAS validated what it described as one of the largest digital pathology deployments within a single organization using Concentriq, estimating more than 300,000 annual sign-outs.

Customers also rated Concentriq highly for supporting integration goals, the company said, noting that the platform offers bidirectional integrations with more than 15 laboratory information systems, including Epic Beaker. Proscia added that it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance.

“Concentriq is mission-critical to our laboratory,” Derek C. Welch, M.D., president and chief medical officer at PathGroup, said in a statement, adding that his organization has built an AI-driven digital pathology program on the platform.

Proscia said Concentriq is also used by life sciences organizations, including 16 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, and that laboratories using the platform have generated revenue through data monetization, clinical trial matching and companion diagnostic development.

David West, chief executive officer of Proscia, said the recognition reflects customer trust in the company’s technology for clinical use.
