PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philly Pride 365 is set to launch the 2025 Philadelphia Pride March and Festival on Sunday, June 1, showcasing this year’s theme, “Philly L.U.V.” This theme represents Legacy, Unity, and Visibility while marking a historic milestone in LGBTQ+ rights. The event pays tribute to 50 years since Governor Milton Shapp’s executive order against discrimination based on sexual preference.

The Pride March will organize at 6th and Walnut Streets at 10:30 a.m., concluding in the iconic Philadelphia Gayborhood. Participants will witness the unveiling of the largest progress rainbow pride flag in the nation, expanded this year to an astonishing 600 feet. The march is open to all LGBTQ+ individuals and allies; registration is not required, but floats and vehicles are prohibited.

When the march reaches the Gayborhood, the Pride Festival will run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., spanning Walnut to Pine Streets and Quince to Juniper Streets. With an expanded footprint, the festival will feature over 200 vendors, community organizations, performers, food trucks, and stages highlighting a diverse lineup of artists and entertainers.

Key Highlights Include:
  • Friday, May 30: The festival kicks off with Pride Across the City, showcasing the record-setting 600-foot pride flag at notable stops such as the Museum of Art steps, Manayunk’s Main Street, and City Hall.
