PHILADELPHIA, PA — IPO Angels, LLC has officially launched, introducing a first-of-its-kind investment model aimed at bridging early-stage funding with a predictable path to the public markets. The new platform is built on a strategic partnership with MDB Capital Holdings, LLC (NASDAQ: MDBH) and Keiretsu Forum’s Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Texas regions (K4-MST).
Redefining Early-Stage Investing
IPO Angels is designed to connect accredited investors with highly vetted early-stage companies while giving founders access to a proven process for going public. The model promises a structured path from Series A funding to IPO in just 12 to 18 months. Through structured rights offerings, investors can maintain ownership into later rounds and potentially achieve liquidity within 90 to 180 days post-IPO.
Howard Lubert, managing partner of IPO Angels, called the effort “a first in the early-stage investment space,” highlighting the combination of rigorous diligence and MDB Capital’s record of IPO success.
Leveraging Proven Track Records
Keiretsu Forum MST is part of the world’s largest accredited investor community, having introduced more than 250 companies to members over the past three years and facilitated over $39 million in direct investments. MDB Capital, meanwhile, has taken 17 “Big Idea” companies public since its founding in 1997, with each listing trading above its initial offering price. Approximately 60% of these companies reached valuations of $500 million, while 25% crossed the $1 billion mark.
MDB’s vertically integrated platform includes a venture-focused broker-dealer and a proprietary screening process designed to identify companies with disruptive technologies and strong intellectual property. The alignment with IPO Angels expands access to this ecosystem for angel investors.
A Structured Approach for Founders and Investors
The partnership is intended to streamline governance, strategy, and market access for founders, while giving investors a clear pathway to liquidity. “Our public venture model has taken every one of our ‘Big Idea’ companies public,” said Chris Marlett, CEO of MDB Capital. “By combining this with IPO Angels’ network and diligence discipline, we can deliver more exceptional companies to the public markets while creating meaningful outcomes in much shorter periods of time.”
Membership and Participation
IPO Angels membership is by invitation to accredited investors, including those from angel groups, family offices, and independent investors. Members will gain access to curated Series A opportunities, educational programs, and investor events aligned with Keiretsu Forum MST’s standards.
With this launch, IPO Angels positions itself at the intersection of angel investing and IPO execution, offering a new framework for aligning early capital with scalable public market outcomes.
