PHILADELPHIA, PA — In case you missed it, Comcast Corp. (CMCSA) said its Xfinity brand has launched a sweeping new loyalty offering, Xfinity Membership, automatically enrolling eligible customers into a tiered rewards program designed to deliver exclusive experiences, weekly perks, and meaningful discounts at no additional cost.
The new program replaces Xfinity Rewards, which the company said will be retired as customers are migrated into the expanded membership experience beginning immediately. Xfinity Membership status is determined by a customer’s tenure and the number of eligible Xfinity services they subscribe to, with more than 30% of former Xfinity Rewards members automatically upgraded to higher tiers at launch.
Xfinity said the program is intended to simplify access to benefits while significantly expanding their scope. Customers will receive automatic status without enrollment requirements, gaining access to rotating weekly perks, bundled discounts, and high-profile experiences powered by Comcast NBCUniversal’s entertainment portfolio.
All benefits are accessed through the Xfinity app, where members can browse offers, claim rewards, and enter sweepstakes for exclusive events, including live concerts and VIP experiences.
The rollout is being highlighted by a high-profile kickoff in San Francisco tied to the Bay Area Host Committee’s BAHC Live! Concert Series Presented by Xfinity during the week leading up to The Big Game. The lineup includes pop artist Benson Boone on February 5, EDM DJ Martin Garrix on February 6, and country star Chris Stapleton on February 7.
Eligible Bay Area Xfinity Members can claim complimentary tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. The tickets include access to Xfinity Club Cortina, a VIP lounge featuring an Olympics-themed experience inspired by Milan-Cortina, along with premium viewing areas near the stage, food and drinks, and surprise guest appearances. Xfinity said branded ambassadors will be onsite offering automatic upgrades for attendees.
In addition to local access, Xfinity is offering two sweepstakes. A national sweepstakes will award one winner and a guest a fully hosted San Francisco experience, including travel, tickets to all three concerts, and VIP access to the Xfinity 415 Lounge. A separate regional sweepstakes will award three Bay Area winners two tickets per show. A prior presale for the concerts sold out within 24 hours, according to the company.
Xfinity said new perks and experiences will be added throughout the year. Membership benefits fall into three categories: weekly entertainment perks such as movie giveaways and discounted rentals, ongoing savings on mobile, streaming, and accessories including Peacock Premium for eligible members, and exclusive experiences ranging from VIP event access to behind-the-scenes opportunities.
Membership tiers include Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, with higher levels unlocked through longer tenure or bundling multiple Xfinity services. The company said the structure is designed to reward long-term loyalty while encouraging deeper service relationships.
With Xfinity Membership, Comcast is signaling a more aggressive push into experiential loyalty, blending entertainment, digital access, and customer retention into a single, automatically applied program.
