PHILADELPHIA, PA — PECO Energy has announced overnight utility construction on County Line Road, affecting parts of Philadelphia and Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 16, and will run through Thursday, June 26.
To facilitate construction, County Line Road will be closed Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. The closure will extend between Bustleton Pike (Route 532) and Barcalow Street.
During the closures, motorists will be directed to follow detour routes using Bustleton Pike (Route 532), Street Road (Route 132), and Second Street Pike (Route 232). Local access for residents and businesses along County Line Road will be maintained throughout the project.
Drivers should anticipate delays and are encouraged to allow additional travel time when navigating the area. PECO Energy emphasized that all scheduled activities are weather dependent and may be adjusted as necessary.
This construction is being conducted under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, with the goal of completing necessary utility upgrades in the region. Motorists are urged to exercise caution and follow detour signs to ensure safety in and around the work zone.
