EWING, NJ — George School’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will join students from Christina Seix Academy on Sunday, November 16, for a Sow Good Now GiveBack event that blends athleticism, mentorship, and service into one purpose-driven afternoon.

Running from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Christina Seix Academy, the event aims to showcase how youth sports can be a powerful catalyst for connection and compassion. Sow Good Now, a national leader in youth sports philanthropy, designed the day to strengthen relationships across communities while encouraging students to channel their values into action.

“Sow Good Now events are about more than just sports,” said Michael Rubin, Director of Operations & Programming. “They give young people the chance to live their values, to connect across communities, and to see how kindness and leadership can take root through action.”

The partnership reflects the shared missions of George School and Christina Seix Academy—two institutions grounded in character, purpose, and service. Through drills, team-building activities, and collective volunteer work, students will explore how generosity can extend far beyond the court.

Organizers say the GiveBack initiative is designed to spark a ripple effect, inspiring students to use their talents to uplift others and carry those lessons into their schools, neighborhoods, and futures.
