PHILADELPHIA, PA — HHM Hotels said it has appointed Chris Lorino as executive vice president of operations, strengthening its leadership bench as the company oversees a growing portfolio of more than 235 hotels across North America.
Lorino joins HHM Hotels with deep experience across full-service, lifestyle, and luxury properties. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of operational strategy and execution for the company’s full-service and lifestyle luxury portfolio, working closely with owners and corporate leaders to drive alignment, performance, and consistent service delivery across multiple U.S. markets.
Chief Operating Officer Dani Elhachem said Lorino’s background across diverse hotel formats made him a strong addition to the executive team. Elhachem said Lorino’s experience operating high-profile assets positions him to help elevate operational, commercial, and food-and-beverage performance across the platform.
Lorino’s career spans more than two decades in hospitality, beginning with a degree from Boston University and early leadership roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He later built a reputation managing prominent properties in major U.S. markets, including hotels in Savannah, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Nashville, and Seattle, many within leading luxury and lifestyle brands.
He previously served as vice president of operations for Sage Hospitality’s Premier Collection and as senior vice president of operations at First Hospitality. Most recently, Lorino was global head of operations at Sonder, where he helped shape operational and commercial strategy during a period of rapid expansion.
HHM Hotels said Lorino’s experience leading complex, multi-market portfolios uniquely positions him to drive large-scale operational excellence and deliver consistent results for owners as the company continues to expand.
Lorino said he was drawn to HHM Hotels’ leadership culture and operating discipline, adding that he looks forward to applying his background to support owners while contributing to the company’s long-term growth strategy.
