PHILADELPHIA, PA — HHM Hotels has named Jeremiah Galvin as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of hospitality finance experience to the role. Reporting to Shawn Tuli, Galvin will oversee the company’s hotel accounting and corporate finance operations.
Galvin joins HHM Hotels after serving as Executive Vice President of Finance at an international hotel management and investment firm. His career includes senior finance and accounting positions at Marriott International, HEI Hotels & Resorts, B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, and Highgate, where he partnered with institutional owners and major hospitality brands.
Known for his expertise in both centralized and decentralized accounting platforms, Galvin has managed complex financial operations for large-scale hotels and resorts worldwide. His background includes implementing accounting standards that meet the audit requirements of publicly traded asset owners, lenders, and investors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jeremiah to the HHM Hotels team,” said Tuli. “His extensive background and proven leadership in hotel finance—both at the corporate and hotel level—will be invaluable as we continue to grow and enhance our services to owners.”
Galvin will work closely with the company’s senior accounting team to advance industry-leading processes for hotel owners. The appointment comes on the heels of HHM Hotels’ recent transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning platform, designed to consolidate business systems and provide greater operational transparency. Galvin’s expertise in financial accuracy, month-end close, chart of accounts consistency, USALI compliance, and meeting owner and lender expectations is expected to strengthen the platform’s impact.
According to President and CEO Naveen Kakarla, “Both Jeremiah and other new joiners—along with our existing team—have made immediate strides in improving our accounting accuracy and speed to close. Between the moves in Finance and other aspects of our senior team, and along with new technologies and reporting, we are well equipped to meet current and future hotel and owner needs.”
