READING, PAOmega Systems has expanded its reach in the healthcare technology sector with the acquisition of PEAKE Technology Partners, a Mid-Atlantic managed services provider specializing in compliant IT solutions for medical practices and clinical organizations. The deal bolsters Omega’s technical capabilities and deepens its expertise in HIPAA compliance, cybersecurity, and clinical artificial intelligence—areas that have become critical for healthcare providers facing escalating regulatory and security pressures.

Omega CEO Mike Fuhrman said the acquisition strengthens the company’s ability to deliver secure, scalable technology support to an industry grappling with rising cyber threats and increasing demands on patient data protection. Founded in 2014 and based in Bowie, Maryland, PEAKE brings specialized skills in electronic health record management, AI-enabled clinical tools, data protection, and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA and HITECH. Its offerings complement Omega’s portfolio of managed support services, managed security, and compliance-as-a-service solutions.

PEAKE Founder and CEO Chris Knotts said joining Omega provides the scale and security innovation needed to help healthcare clients navigate increasing cyber risk and shifting federal guidelines. He emphasized the growing challenge healthcare organizations face as they work to secure sensitive data and meet evolving compliance standards.

The acquisition marks Omega’s first major move since partnering with Revelstoke Capital Partners earlier this year and follows a period of notable growth for the company. Omega recently earned several national MSP and MSSP awards—including the CRN Triple Crown Award—and launched Smart Secure Edge, a cloud-native managed SASE platform.
