WARMINSTER, PA — Havis introduced a new Side-by-Side Dual Drawer System that broadens its lineup of mobile storage equipment for law enforcement and commercial fleets, offering agencies a more efficient way to secure and access mission-critical gear.
The dual-drawer configuration is engineered to boost productivity, safety, and organization inside fleet vehicles. Havis said the design maximizes cargo space while giving officers and technicians rapid access to equipment in high-pressure situations.
The full-width system uses the entire cargo area, providing expanded capacity with 16 inches more drawer depth than earlier models. Each drawer extends fully outside the vehicle, allowing quick retrieval of tools, weapons, or emergency supplies.
Lightweight toppers can be added to create an additional storage surface, with built-in slots that support bungee cords and tie-downs. Customers can choose between a Simplex Lock for high-security use or a Cam Lock for general storage needs.
Havis, which has supplied rugged mobility and storage solutions for more than 80 years, positioned the new product as another step toward meeting the demands of frontline agencies. Product Manager Dan Heiland said the system is designed to address the day-to-day realities of public safety and fleet operations, adding that the expanded storage lineup gives agencies “the flexibility and trust they need to stay focused on the mission.”
