Harleysville Bank Names New Senior Commercial Lending Leader for 2026

HARLEYSVILLE, PAHarleysville Financial Corporation (OTCQX: HARL), the holding company for Harleysville Bank, said its board of directors has appointed Ryan Schuck as senior vice president and senior commercial loan officer, effective January 1, 2026, creating a new executive role focused on commercial lending leadership.

Schuck joined Harleysville Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harleysville Financial Corporation, in November 2019 as vice president and commercial loan officer. Since then, the company said he has played an expanding role in the bank’s commercial lending operations while maintaining strong ties to the local community.

Chief Executive Officer Brendan McGill said Schuck brings more than two decades of experience across commercial lending and retail banking. McGill said Schuck has consistently demonstrated the ability to take on greater responsibility and is well positioned to guide the bank’s commercial loan department as it continues to grow.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Schuck is active in the community, coaching youth sports and serving on the board of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.
