PHILADELPHIA, PA — With millions of Americans at risk of losing access to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits due to the ongoing government shutdown, Gopuff announced a $10 million national relief effort to help affected families continue accessing essential groceries.

The Philadelphia-based delivery platform will provide $50 in grocery credits—split into two $25 installments throughout November—to customers who have a SNAP EBT card connected to their Gopuff account or who add one during the month. The credits can be applied toward SNAP-eligible items with free delivery in as little as 15 minutes.

“Gopuff is committed to showing up in the ways that matter most to the people and communities it serves,” the company stated. The program, designed to ease disruptions in food assistance, underscores Gopuff’s broader push to support food access during times of crisis.

SNAP recipients can access the relief in two waves: through November 15 using code SNAPRELIEF1, and from November 16–30 using code SNAPRELIEF2, each providing $25 off SNAP-eligible items with no delivery fee.

The initiative builds on Gopuff’s ongoing work to fight food insecurity. Since 2019, the company has partnered with Feeding America to support food banks nationwide, donating more than 1.1 million pounds of food in 2024 alone.

As federal aid hangs in uncertainty, Gopuff’s relief effort aims to fill a critical gap for families relying on SNAP benefits—ensuring faster, easier access to everyday groceries when they’re needed most.
