Goddard School Announces 2026 Franchisee Award Winners

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Goddard Systems, LLC recently announced the recipients of its 2026 franchisee awards, recognizing operators across its early childhood education network for performance, leadership, and community contributions.

The awards were presented at the 2026 Goddard School Franchisee Convention in San Antonio, according to the company.

Dave Collins, who operates Goddard Schools in Edgewater and Eldersburg, Maryland, was named Franchisee of the Year. The award recognizes overall leadership and operational performance across the franchise system.

Brad and Risa May, operators of schools in Chantilly, Virginia, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for long-term contributions to the brand and franchise network.

Nan Song, of Chino Hills, California, received the Resiliency Award, which recognizes franchisees who demonstrate adaptability and operational improvement.

Franchisees across the Dallas-Fort Worth market collectively received the Humanitarian Award after coordinating a regional diaper drive that donated more than 42,000 diapers to local organizations.

Samantha Boccella Mitkus, who owns a Goddard School in Royersford, Pennsylvania, received the Emerging Leader Award. The company said she has led operational changes since acquiring the school in 2024.

Quentin and Lauren Smallwood, operators of a school in South Windsor, Connecticut, received the Outstanding Family Experience Award, which reflects parent satisfaction and engagement metrics.

Tanny Rahman of McKinney, Texas, and Debbie Lee of Wilton, Connecticut, were named recipients of the Educational Excellence Award for implementing curriculum and maintaining performance benchmarks, including accreditation standards.

Derick and Bobbie Doe, operators of a school in Novi, Michigan, received the Transformational Development Award after expanding capacity at their location.

Speranza Consulting and Investments, including multiple franchise operators, received the Cornerstone Award for opening new schools in Florida and Pennsylvania.

The Brand Ambassador Award was presented to four regional recipients: Michael Petrucelli of Darien, Illinois; Kim Murray of Monroe and Shelton, Connecticut; Jim and Lynn Moratis of Columbia, Maryland; and Erin Goulet of Snohomish, Washington.

Goddard Systems, based in King of Prussia, manages The Goddard School franchise system, which includes more than 675 locations serving nearly 100,000 students in 38 states and Washington, D.C.
