GLOBO’s Rapid Rise Shows How Language Access Is Becoming a Healthcare Imperative

GLOBO Language Solutions

PHILADELPHIA, PAGLOBO Language Solutions has been named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ for the second straight year, earning a spot among North America’s fastest-growing technology and life sciences companies after posting 200% revenue growth over three years.

The Philadelphia-based language services provider ranked No. 365 on Deloitte’s 2025 list, up from No. 455 last year. CEO Dipak Patel said the company’s sustained momentum stems from a single priority: delivering high-quality interpretation at every step of the patient journey.

Healthcare systems nationwide are facing rising demand from limited English proficient (LEP) patients — a population estimated at 26.3 million people, or 8.4% of the U.S. population. Patel said that demand is reshaping how health systems think about communication, equity, and value-based care. He argued that the industry can no longer treat language access as an optional service.

“In value-based care, poor outcomes for LEP patients directly hurt performance,” Patel said. “Investing in language services isn’t an add-on — it’s essential to doing value-based care well.”

GLOBO has prioritized technology investment to meet that need. Following a two-year research effort and a 2025 pilot, the company rolled out two AI-powered tools to more than 3,000 healthcare organizations. GLOBO KAI™ offers on-demand AI interpreting in more than 20 languages for non-clinical interactions, while GLOBO Live Quality monitors video and audio interpreting sessions for accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Patel said early results show the tools improve patient flow, expand intake capacity, support wayfinding, and help prevent communication breakdowns that slow care and drive costs. GLOBO Live Quality also evaluates visual and audio elements of each interaction, helping providers quickly identify issues that could disrupt care.

GLOBO’s expansion comes as evidence mounts linking culturally responsive communication to better safety, stronger outcomes, and lower costs. Patel said AI-enhanced monitoring is helping health systems gain deeper visibility into interpreting quality at scale.

Deloitte’s Wolfe Tone said this year’s Fast 500 results show both long-standing leaders and new entrants driving rapid growth across key sectors. More than half the winners returned from previous years, while many top-ranked companies are first-time honorees.

The 2025 Fast 500 companies recorded revenue growth between 122% and 29,738% from 2021 to 2024, with an average growth rate of 1,079%.
