WILMINGTON, DE — Global Indemnity Group, LLC (NASDAQ: GBLI) announced that its Board of Directors approved a cash distribution of $0.35 per common share, scheduled for payment on December 30, 2025, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 22, 2025.
The company, a publicly traded holding entity overseeing a broad mix of property and casualty insurance operations, continues to lean on its diversified structure as it navigates a shifting market. The latest distribution arrives as investors assess how insurers will respond to elevated claims costs, reinsurance pressures, and ongoing economic uncertainty.
Global Indemnity’s operations span two primary platforms: Katalyx Holdings LLC and Belmont Holdings GX, Inc.
Katalyx Holdings includes four managing general agencies that source, underwrite, and service both primary and reinsurance business: Penn-America Insurance Services, Valyn Re, J.H. Ferguson & Associates (including Vacant Express), and Collectibles Insurance Services. The platform also encompasses three specialized insurance and technology entities: Kaleidoscope Insurance Technologies, a developer of proprietary underwriting and policy systems; Sayata, an AI-driven insurance marketplace; and Liberty Insurance Adjustment Agency, a provider of claims evaluation and related services.
Belmont Holdings GX operates five statutory insurance carriers, all rated A (Excellent) by AM Best. These carriers — Penn-America Insurance Company, United National Insurance Company, Penn-Patriot Insurance Company, Diamond State Insurance Company, and Penn-Star Insurance Company — anchor the group’s underwriting strength and offer a buffer of stability as the industry braces for another year of unpredictable losses.
The newly announced distribution signals confidence heading into 2026, though analysts will be watching closely for any updates on underwriting performance, capital deployment, and the company’s broader strategic posture amid tightening competitive conditions.
