LANCASTER, PA — Fulton Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: FULT) announced that Chief Human Resources Officer Bernadette Taylor will retire June 5, 2026, after more than three decades with the company.
The company said Karen Grafje, currently director of total rewards and HR solutions, will succeed Taylor as chief human resources officer following her retirement.
Taylor joined Fulton in 1994 as corporate training director and later held several leadership roles in human resources before being named chief HR officer in 2015.
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President Curt Myers said Taylor played a key role in shaping the company’s workplace culture.
“Bernadette has been instrumental in developing our company culture that sets us apart and helps us attract talented colleagues,” Myers said.
Taylor said she appreciated the opportunity to work with colleagues throughout her career at the company.
“Throughout my career at Fulton, I have been grateful for the opportunity to work with team members who are truly dedicated to changing lives for the better,” Taylor said.
Grafje joined Fulton three years ago and brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, the company said.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds several professional human resources certifications.
