FORT WASHINGTON, PA — Bancroft Capital has selected four military veterans for its 2026 Veteran Training Program, continuing a pipeline that moves former service members from active duty into careers in finance.
The firm announced that Joseph Cantu, Tian England, and Killian Mountford will begin training in 2026, joining Alex Brown, who entered the program in August and is already rotating through its early stages.
Chief Executive Officer Cauldon Quinn said the incoming class reflects the firm’s focus on translating military leadership into financial expertise. He said each candidate brings skills developed under pressure and in complex operational environments.
Cantu served seven years in the United States Marine Corps as an air traffic control officer with Marine Air Control Squadron 2, reaching the rank of captain. During his service, he sustained multiple injuries, including the amputation of his dominant arm. Quinn said Cantu’s perseverance stood out as he prepared for a civilian career.
England served nine years on active duty in the Marine Corps as a motor transport maintenance chief. She deployed to Afghanistan as a Female Engagement Team leader and later earned an MBA from American Military University. England said her experience leading Marines and managing logistics shaped her professional approach.
Mountford spent three and a half years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer aboard the USS Lake Erie, deploying to the Western Pacific in 2024. He said the program offers a structured path into the finance industry.
Brown, who began the program last summer, has already earned multiple FINRA licenses, including the Series 7, 66, and 79. A graduate of Boston College’s MBA program, Brown previously served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army with the 10th Mountain Division. Quinn said Brown has shown strong aptitude as he prepares for his post-licensing career path.
Bancroft Capital launched its Veteran Training Program in 2017. Since then, 28 veterans have completed the program, with alumni going on to work at institutions such as Bank of America, T. Rowe Price, and Wells Fargo.
The firm said the latest class reinforces its long-term commitment to helping veterans transition from military service to professional roles in finance.
