PHILADELPHIA, PA — The aromas of smoky barbecue, rich stouts, and sizzling pork dishes will soon fill the streets of Fishtown as the neighborhood prepares for the return of Stouts & Snouts, a one-day celebration of craft drinks and creative bites.

Hosted by the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District, the second annual event invites beer lovers, whiskey fans, and food enthusiasts to explore more than 20 restaurants and bars throughout Fishtown on Saturday, March 14.

From late morning until closing time, participating venues will feature stout beer specials, snout-inspired cocktails, and pork-forward dishes — along with plant-based options — creating a neighborhood-wide tasting tour designed to showcase the area’s vibrant dining and bar scene.

“Fishtown District is thrilled to bring back this destination food-and-drink event to our thriving commercial corridor,” said Marc Collazzo, executive director of the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District. “It’s a great way to spend the day sampling creative pairings at our unique eateries and taverns while supporting local businesses. We invite everyone to join us for Stouts & Snouts, because food always tastes better when shared with friends.”

This year’s event brings together a who’s who of the neighborhood’s restaurants and bars, including Johnny Brenda’s, Frankford Hall, Fette Sau, Sancho Pistolas, WM Mulherin’s Sons, Other Half Brewing, and many more.

Each location will offer its own unique menu items and drink specials. Guests might find candied bacon deviled eggs paired with a stout cocktail, stout-braised pork belly, Hawaiian-style pulled pork sliders, roast pork pot pie, or even bacon-baked oysters. For stout enthusiasts, breweries and bars will feature classic Irish stouts alongside inventive craft variations.
