NORTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the Northampton, Bucks County Municipal Authority will begin a long-term utility construction project on Route 532 (Buck Road) in Northampton Township starting Monday, September 15.
The roadway will be closed 24/7 from Monday, September 15, through Wednesday, November 26, between Old Bristol Road and Chinquapin Road. During the closure, a posted detour will direct motorists along Old Bristol Road, Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike), Route 132 (Street Road), Churchville Road, Bristol Road, Churchville Lane, and Holland Road.
Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, as backups and delays are expected in the surrounding area. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
