Elevate Healthcare Taps Veteran Marketer to Lead Client Engagement Push

Business News

BLUE BELL, PA — Elevate Healthcare Marketing said Karen Beckert, a longtime healthcare marketing executive with more than two decades of industry experience, has joined the firm as executive vice president of client engagement and customer activation.

Beckert steps into the role as healthcare challenger brands place greater emphasis on patient activation, omnichannel engagement, and measurable outcomes. At Elevate, she will help shape the agency’s client engagement strategy and expand its patient and customer activation capabilities to meet shifting market demands.

Beckert brings roughly 25 years of healthcare advertising and marketing experience, including senior leadership roles at Biolumina, Digitas Health, and Ogilvy Health. Her work has spanned dermatology, rare disease, central nervous system disorders, women’s health, respiratory care, oncology, and vaccines.

During her career, Beckert has overseen major brand launches, led large-scale omnichannel campaigns, and managed cross-functional teams supporting both global and U.S. initiatives. Her experience includes directing multimillion-dollar digital, healthcare professional, and patient programs, building and scaling large account teams, and guiding long-term brand planning and quarterly business review processes.

“She consistently puts clients and teams in a position to do their best work,” said Lorna Weir, co-founder of Elevate Healthcare Marketing, citing Beckert’s leadership style and strategic approach as key strengths.

In her new position, Beckert will work closely with Elevate’s founders on strategic planning while collaborating across strategy, creative, digital, medical, and account management teams. Her responsibilities include developing best practices for client engagement and patient activation, strengthening core capabilities across the organization, mentoring senior talent, and maintaining alignment throughout brand planning and new business efforts.
