WILMINGTON, DE — EnterpriseDB (EDB) announced that its EDB Postgres® AI platform is now part of the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design, a blueprint for deploying sovereign, secure, and scalable artificial intelligence systems in high-assurance environments.
The collaboration allows government agencies and regulated enterprises to build mission-critical AI infrastructure with greater control over data and compliance. According to EDB’s Sovereignty Matters report, 95% of enterprises plan to develop their own AI and data platforms within the next three years, and those already fully committed to sovereignty are realizing up to five times higher returns on investment.

The NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design provides a full-stack framework to support AI workloads requiring advanced security and operational assurance. EDB Postgres AI is engineered to adapt to sovereign data needs, enabling both cloud and on-premises deployments.
By incorporating NVIDIA NeMo Retriever and NVIDIA NIM microservices, EDB Postgres AI enhances retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows and model-to-data architectures that keep sensitive information within controlled environments.
EDB is also pursuing FedRAMP Authorization through the Game Warden platform to further expand government readiness. Its solutions comply with database STIGs and FIPS 140-3 and deliver Iron Bank–hardened containers for federal customers.
