WILLOW GROVE, PA — ECRI announced the recipients of its 2025 Healthcare Supply Chain Excellence Award, recognizing hospitals and health systems across the United States for their leadership in spend management, process standardization, and data-driven decision-making.
Now in its fourteenth year, the award honors members of ECRI’s supply chain services portfolio who demonstrate exemplary performance across the procurement lifecycle—from budgeting and benchmarking to technology assessment and strategic development. Candidates were evaluated on their 2025 spend management and market analytics efforts, including work with capital medical devices, physician preference items, and service contracts.
Tim Browne, Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions at ECRI, said this year’s honorees highlight how modern supply chain management extends beyond cost control. He noted that collaboration, standardization, and informed product selection are helping hospitals reduce risk, improve efficiency, and achieve measurable savings.

ECRI’s Chief Solutions Officer, Stuart Morris-Hipkins, said the awardees exemplify how effective supply chain strategies can directly enhance patient care. He emphasized that integrating data, evidence-based decision-making, and collaboration between clinical and supply chain teams not only drives millions in savings but also frees up clinicians to focus on patients.
