NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope is gearing up for a massive Philadelphia Eagles-themed celebration as the town wraps up its 2025 Summer Series on Friday, September 5, with an evening of festivities, live entertainment, and a synchronized fireworks and drone show over the Delaware River.

Organized by Visit New Hope and the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce, with support from Union Chill and New Hope Celebrates, the event promises to be one of the biggest nights of the summer. The celebration coincides with the Eagles’ home opener weekend and encourages fans to show up in full Birds gear.

Stockton Avenue will transform into a bustling block party from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, featuring nearly two dozen local vendors, restaurants, and pop-up shops. Attendees can enjoy Philly sports-inspired food and drink specials, live music, a DJ, and family-friendly activities, including face painting and giveaways.

The highlight of the night begins around 9:10 PM, when a dazzling drone show synchronized with fireworks will light up the skies in Eagles green, complete with themed designs and symbols. The first 500 attendees at the block party and visitor center pop-up will receive complimentary glowing green surprises to wave during the display.

“This is going to be the biggest and best pep rally for our Eagles on First Friday in September,” said Michael Sklar, president of Visit New Hope and the New Hope Chamber of Commerce. “We broke records with more than 10,000 people at our last show, and we’re thrilled to combine our fireworks and drone display with Philly sports fan spirit.”

The family-friendly celebration is open to everyone, with food, drinks, and shopping available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
