COLMAR, PA — Dorman Products Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM) recently appointed President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Olsen as chairman of the board, the company announced.
Olsen, who has served as CEO since 2019, succeeds Steven Berman, who will remain on the board after serving as chairman since 2011.
The company said the leadership change is part of a planned succession process.
“Today’s announcement underscores the Board’s confidence in Kevin’s strategic vision and leadership,” said Richard Riley, the company’s lead independent director.
Olsen joined Dorman in 2016 as chief financial officer and was promoted to president and chief operating officer in 2018 before becoming CEO.
“Combining the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer provides unified leadership and direction for the Company,” Riley said.
Dorman Products is a supplier of aftermarket automotive parts and components for cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles.
