DENVER, PA — Morphy Auctions’ June 11-12 Fine & Decorative Arts Auction promises a remarkable showcase of rare and valuable items across American and European art and antiques. Among the standout pieces is a monumental Black Forest clock with a two-panel case carved from linden wood. This 79-inch-tall masterpiece features five fully-dimensional bears climbing a pine tree, meticulously detailed with realistic fur and painted accents. Estimated at $10,000-$20,000, the clock is a striking example of 19th-century craftsmanship.

Collectors of fine timepieces will be drawn to an exceptionally rare Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Mystery Tourbillon wristwatch. Crafted from platinum and adorned with diamonds and sapphires, it is one of only 99 such pieces in existence. This watch, identified as No. 1 in the limited edition, is expected to fetch $150,000-$200,000.

Tiffany Studios enthusiasts will have the chance to bid on a stunning table lamp with an 18-inch shade in the Oriental Poppy floral pattern. Featuring a rich palette of reds, blues, and purples, the lamp’s signed shade rests upon a Tiffany Studios Tyler-style base. The pre-sale estimate for this exceptional piece is $125,000-$175,000.

American art highlights include a nautical oil painting by James Bard, titled U.S. Mail Paddle Steamer George Law (circa 1853), estimated at $40,000-$80,000. Other significant items include a circa-1880s original Samuel Robb cigar store Indian figure ($20,000-$50,000).

From Europe, a 52-inch Villeroy & Boch terracotta Santa figure, believed to have been created in 1900 for a department store display, is estimated at $20,000-$30,000. Additionally, Les Amis Toujours (Friends Forever), a circa-1925 bronze sculpture by Demetre Chiparus, carries a pre-sale estimate of $20,000-$30,000. A rare Amphora vase featuring a mythological aquatic battle scene, in mint condition and appearing at auction for the first time, is expected to realize $12,000-$18,000.
