PHILADELPHIA, PA — The 36th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor juried art festival, will take place on Saturday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., along Main Street in Manayunk. Organized by the Manayunk Development Corporation, the event will feature approximately 300 artists and crafters, attracting an estimated 100,000 visitors from across the tri-state area.

First launched in 1990, the festival has become a celebrated tradition, renowned for spotlighting a diverse range of artistic disciplines. This year’s event will include artists working in painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, and more. From live art demonstrations to food and drink vendors, the festival promises a full weekend of creativity and community engagement.

A standout feature of the festival is the Emerging Artist Program, which offers a platform for new talents to showcase their work. This year, the program will highlight 30 up-and-coming artists in a dedicated tent on Grape Street. These participants, who can join the program for up to three years, often transition into main festival exhibitors.

This year’s poster artwork, integral to the festival’s branding, was created by Bryane Broadie, a graphic artist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Broadie’s multimedia work, inspired by Black history and cultural identity, reflects themes of resilience and self-expression.

“Art has the power to heal, to inspire, and to remind us of the beauty and hope that reside within us,” Broadie shared. His 2025 piece, prominently displayed in the festival’s marketing, emphasizes the festival’s spirit of creativity and inclusion.

The Manayunk Arts Festival is free to attend and will be held rain or shine. Visitors are encouraged to utilize public transportation or the complimentary shuttle service to access the event. With its rich history, vibrant artistic offerings, and welcoming atmosphere, the festival continues to be a highlight of the summer calendar for Pennsylvanians and beyond.
