VILLANOVA, PA – Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health has appointed Devang Patel, M.S., as its first senior vice president and chief information officer, a move aimed at accelerating the nonprofit’s digital transformation and enhancing technology-driven care.
In his new role, Patel joins Devereux’s executive leadership team, where he will oversee all aspects of information technology, from enterprise systems and data governance to telecommunications and project implementation. His responsibilities include ensuring technology systems effectively support employees, individuals, and families served by the organization.

Patel brings more than 25 years of experience in designing and delivering technology solutions across healthcare, retail, and insurance sectors. Before joining Devereux, he spent eight years at Radial Inc./Belgian Post Group, most recently serving as chief information officer and chief technology officer. His career also includes leadership roles at eBay, GSI Commerce, Siemens Medical Solutions USA, and Aetna U.S. Healthcare.
Patel holds a Master of Science in software and systems engineering from Penn State Great Valley, a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune in India, and a technology management certificate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the founder of Ma Sadhi, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in enterprise data strategy and automation.
With Patel’s appointment, Devereux continues its investment in technology-enabled innovation to strengthen operations and advance behavioral healthcare nationwide.
