PHILADELPHIA, PA — Dermatology Partners is turning its network of nearly 40 clinics across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland into collection points for a large-scale food drive this November, urging patients, families, and community members to help combat regional food insecurity.
The privately owned, physician-led dermatology group is collecting non-perishable food items and household essentials throughout the month to support local food banks in each community it serves. Donations will benefit organizations including Philabundance, the Chester County Food Bank, the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank, and the Maryland Food Bank.
Andrew Frankel, chief operating officer of Dermatology Partners, encouraged widespread participation. “We urge everyone – friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers – to participate and spread the word,” Frankel said. “Together, we can make this season a little brighter for our neighbors in need.”
Donations such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and ready-to-eat meals can be dropped off at any Dermatology Partners location through November. A full list of participating clinics is available at www.dermpartners.com/locations.
The initiative aligns with the organization’s commitment to community service, especially during the holiday season when local food banks experience heightened demand. Those seeking more information about the drive can visit www.dermpartners.com or call (888) 818-3376.
