From celebrated pianist Cyrus Chestnut to acclaimed guitarists Peter Bernstein and Bobby Broom, the month marks a high note for live music lovers in Philadelphia.

In addition to the headlining acts, Chef and Owner Mark DeNinno has revived weekday lunch service at the storied Sansom Street venue after a five-year hiatus. “We’ve served lunch for 20 years, and now that a lot of folks have returned to their offices and the city is bustling again, our wildly popular daily lunch specials are back,” DeNinno said.

The refreshed lunch menu—available on the café’s website—includes the return of fan favorites such as The Dizzy Burger, topped with caramelized Madeira onions and hickory-smoked bacon, and The Ella Fitzgerald, a chargrilled chicken sandwich layered with smoked mozzarella and red onion marmalade. The offerings will rotate seasonally, featuring soups, pastas, and fish specials, while archived live performances play throughout the day to create an authentic jazz-club atmosphere.
