CSC Wins Certificate Lifecycle Management Award at InfoSec Event

CSC

WILMINGTON, DE — CSC announced it has been named a 2026 Global InfoSec Awards winner for certificate lifecycle management, recognizing its work in digital certificate validation and security services.

The award, presented by Cyber Defense Magazine, highlights CSC’s Domain Control Validation as a Service (DCVaaS), which automates validation processes for SSL/TLS certificates.

CSC said the tool is designed to streamline certificate management as industry requirements evolve, including the removal of WHOIS-based email validation and shorter certificate lifespans.

The company said DCVaaS automates domain validation during certificate renewals, reducing manual processes and enabling faster deployment.

Mark Flegg, senior director of technology for CSC Security Products and Services, said the service addresses changes in validation requirements.

“With the continually evolving requirements around certificate lifecycles and domain control validation, we saw a need for a proactive solution to help clients,” Flegg said.

CSC said the platform can complete validation in under five minutes and is intended to help organizations maintain compliance as certificate reuse periods and validity durations shorten.

The company provides domain management, cybersecurity and brand protection services to global organizations and is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.
