Comcast’s Xfinity Redefines NBA Viewing With Game-Changing Fan Features

Comcast

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Comcast’s Xfinity is reshaping how basketball fans watch and interact with live sports this season, unveiling a suite of new features that transform the traditional viewing experience. Just in time for the NBA tip-off, Xfinity customers can now create personalized multiview screens, access real-time stats through an interactive companion, and navigate over 1,300 NBA games in one seamless hub.

At the center of this upgrade is Create Your Own Multiview, a customizable feature that lets fans choose up to four live games to watch simultaneously—across networks and sports. Viewers can resize screens, switch audio feeds, and follow multiple matchups without missing a moment of action.

Complementing it is Fan View, a new on-screen companion that integrates scores, stats, standings, and team insights alongside the live broadcast. Fans can track every play, review betting odds, or jump between games without switching apps. The experience builds on the platform’s original Sports Zone app with expanded interactivity and personalization.

A redesigned NBA Zone ties it all together, serving as a one-stop destination for every game of the season—whether airing on cable, broadcast, or streaming platforms. Fans can customize their interface with favorite teams and access live coverage, highlights, and real-time updates.

“In today’s fragmented sports landscape, fans have to navigate a growing mix of networks and apps just to follow their favorite teams. Our goal is to make this easy,” said Fraser Stirling, global chief product officer at Comcast. “Nobody does basketball better than we do, and by bringing everything together into one simple, feature-packed experience, we’re removing complexity so our customers can simply sit back and enjoy everything the season has to offer.”

Together, these upgrades position Xfinity as a leader in the convergence of sports, technology, and entertainment—delivering a new standard for the modern game-day experience.
