PHILADELPHIA, PA — Comcast announced it will award 500 comprehensive grant packages to small business owners in five U.S. regions as part of its Comcast RISE program. Entrepreneurs in Boston, MA; Grand Rapids, MI; Nashville, TN; Seattle, WA; and South Valley, UT will receive the awards in September 2025.
Now in its fifth year, Comcast RISE provides small businesses with financial, marketing, and technology resources to drive growth and community impact. Each recipient will receive a $5,000 monetary grant, technology upgrades, creative production and advertising services, educational resources, and personalized business coaching.
“Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy,” said Dalila Wilson-Scott, EVP and Chief Impact & Inclusion Officer, Comcast Corporation & President, Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation. “Comcast RISE is just one of the ways we’re investing in entrepreneurs who drive innovation, create jobs, and build stronger communities. This is about more than grants, it’s about providing the resources and support to drive long-term local impact.”
Since its launch, Comcast RISE has distributed more than $160 million to 14,500 small businesses nationwide as part of Project UP, the company’s $1 billion initiative to expand digital equity and economic opportunity.
