Columbus Organization Expands Reach With Acquisition of Diversified Resources, Inc.

The Columbus Organization

BLUE BELL, PAThe Columbus Organization has announced its acquisition of Diversified Resources, Inc. (DRI), a significant move aimed at enhancing care coordination for aging and disabled populations in Georgia.

Founded in 1999, DRI serves over 5,000 members under the Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program (EDWP) and through regional Area Agencies on Aging across southern Georgia. Known for its strong local presence and trusted care delivery, DRI has become an essential provider for individuals with complex needs in the region.

This acquisition aligns with Columbus’ strategic growth in complex health care management and integrates DRI’s expertise into its expanding portfolio. The move builds on Columbus’ introduction of C-Change™, a comprehensive health coordination model that combines face-to-face, person-centered support with advanced data analytics to improve patient outcomes and reduce system-wide costs.

Speaking on behalf of DRI’s leadership, Caroline McGovern, SOURCE Program Director, highlighted the partnership’s potential as Georgia moves toward a managed care system. “We believe, together, we will be well prepared to be a trusted partner with members, providers, Area Agencies on Aging, the state, and managed care companies,” McGovern said.
