RADNOR, PA — CME Outfitters (CMEO), a division of KnowFully Learning Group, has been awarded the 2025 Fierce DEI Award in the category of Innovative Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training and Education. The honor recognizes CMEO’s comprehensive initiative to address healthcare disparities and improve health equity through targeted clinician education.

The recognized program, “Enhancing Health Equity Through HCP Education: Educational Strategies for Addressing Barriers for Underserved Populations in Multiple Disease States,” has delivered more than 150 educational activities to date. These programs focus on implicit bias, healthcare disparities, access challenges, and equity, providing clinicians with actionable strategies they can implement immediately. Outcomes data demonstrate significant improvements in both clinician knowledge and patient outcomes.

Executive Vice President Shari Tordoff emphasized the significance of the recognition, describing it as an affirmation of CMEO’s mission. “We are proud and honored to be recognized with this award as it underscores our commitment to embedding the principles of health equity and access into the very fabric of all our educational activities,” Tordoff said. “With measurable outcomes, rigorous design, and a focus on real-world change, these initiatives empower clinicians to dismantle systemic disparities across multiple disease states and practice settings.”

Looking ahead, CME Outfitters plans to expand its health equity-focused educational programs into additional therapeutic areas and community-based settings, with an emphasis on rural populations. Tordoff added that these efforts reflect a fundamental belief that equitable care is a right, not a privilege.

“Through education that informs, engages, and inspires, we are proud to help shape a healthcare system where every patient has the opportunity to achieve their best possible outcome,” Tordoff said.

CMEO’s award-winning initiative positions it as a leader in innovative medical education, reinforcing its commitment to advancing a more inclusive and equitable healthcare system nationwide.
