FORT WASHINGTON, PA — CMC Energy Services appointed Charlotte Matthews as chair of its board of directors, succeeding Eileen McGinnis, who led the board for five years.
McGinnis, a former company president, will continue in an advisory role as chair emeritus following more than 15 years in leadership positions at the company.
Matthews has served on CMC’s board for five years and brings experience in sustainability, building performance, and electrification.
“I am honored to step into this role,” Matthews said. “I am committed to strengthening board engagement and advancing CMC’s mission to deliver energy affordability and health benefits to households nationwide.”
Her background includes leadership roles at RMI, Google, Sidewalk Labs, and Related Companies, with a focus on decarbonization and infrastructure.
CMC Energy Services provides energy efficiency and electrification services, primarily serving low- and moderate-income households.
The company works with utilities and government agencies on programs that include residential, multifamily, and commercial energy efficiency initiatives.
CMC has conducted energy audits at more than 600,000 homes and 50,000 commercial buildings and operates programs in 10 states with a workforce of more than 300 employees.
