CleanSpace Appoints Shelley Preslar as VP of Quality

FORT WASHINGTON, PA — CleanSpace announced the appointment of Shelley Preslar as vice president of quality for CleanShield, the company’s technical services division, to oversee quality and compliance functions.

The company said Preslar will lead quality, compliance and contamination control initiatives across CleanShield, which provides commissioning, qualification and validation services for regulated facilities.

Preslar brings more than 25 years of experience in aseptic processing, contamination control, commissioning, qualification and validation, and regulatory remediation in life sciences environments, according to the company.

Her previous work includes supporting facility startups, leading remediation efforts under consent decrees, and implementing quality systems across pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cell and gene therapy operations.

As vice president of quality, Preslar will oversee CleanShield’s framework for commissioning, qualification, validation, maintenance, calibration and regulatory compliance services, the company said. She will work with CleanSpace’s design, engineering and construction teams to support transitions from facility construction to operational use.

CleanSpace is a design-builder specializing in modular cleanroom and controlled environment facilities.
