PHILADELPHIA, PA — This September, Circus Campus Presents will transform its historic Greene Street venue into a hub of high-flying artistry, hosting 12 productions and three weekends of performances as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

Running September 12–28, the lineup brings together circus artists from across the country alongside top instructors from the Greater Philadelphia region, offering everything from acrobatics and aerials to juggling, magic, clowning, and fire shows.

The final weekend will feature Time Loops by the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts — a family-friendly, time-travel adventure designed to celebrate history while capturing the spirit of circus. “Philadelphia Fringe Festival gives our city’s circus community a designated time every year when local artists have the chance — and the encouragement — to produce original work,” said Circus Campus founder Shana Kennedy.

This year’s program kicks off with Lunarium by Skylark Circus, an outdoor fire performance, followed by Greg Kennedy’s Architectonica, Circus Bliss’s You’ll Grow Out of It, and Fail Happy Productions’ MaeWest: The Comeback Queen. The second weekend features Laugh Magic LIVE by Jonathan Lachance, Mommy’s Khimar by Enchantment Theatre Company, and a double bill of The Tungus Mungus Fungus Rumpus and Where the Wild Waits. Closing weekend highlights include Daniel Forlano’s Grant, the movement workshop Dance Medicine, and Sweet & Sour Circus’s Pink Lemonade.

Founded in 2017, Circus Campus serves as a collaborative space for performers, coaches, and graduates from its Circadium training program, as well as community members engaged in ongoing workshops and showcases. Kennedy says the hub’s mission is to “showcase the skills and variety of these incredible people” while pushing creative boundaries.
