PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Chestnut Hill neighborhood is set to sparkle once again as it kicks off its beloved Holidays on the Hill celebration on November 22. Running through December 25, the annual festival turns one of Philadelphia’s most picturesque communities into a holiday destination filled with shopping, family fun, and timeless traditions.

The season begins with the Circle of Trees celebration at the Woodmere Art Museum, where Santa will arrive aboard an antique fire truck before the lighting of the museum and its holiday trees. Visitors can enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and live music while donating books for local children.

Throughout the season, families can explore the Holiday Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum & Gardens, where model trains weave through twinkling landscapes, or take part in Chestnut Hill’s Holiday House Tour on December 13, featuring beautifully decorated homes and festive treats.

For shoppers, Stag & Doe Nights return December 3, 10, and 17, offering extended store hours, refreshments, and entertainment along Germantown Avenue. Free parking will be available every Wednesday beginning November 29, thanks to the Chestnut Hill Parking Foundation.

The festivities continue with the Chestnut Hill Community Association’s Holiday Parade on December 6, featuring fire engines, marching bands, horses, and guest appearances from Santa Claus and the Phillie Phanatic.
