CertaPro’s Pink Campaign Tops $830,000, Turning Paint Jobs Into Research Power

CertaPro Painters Paint it Pink

AUDUBON, PACertaPro Painters®, North America’s largest residential and commercial painting franchise, said its annual Paint it Pink campaign raised $130,000 this year for breast cancer research, pushing total fundraising since 2019 beyond $830,000.

The company said the seven-year initiative, conducted in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Breast Cancer Canada, has helped fund more than 330 patient enrollments into clinical trials through BCRF. A portion of every painting project completed between October 1 and November 30 was directed to the campaign.

CertaPro said 139 franchisees participated in the effort, with donations split between the two research organizations. The campaign coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is designed to combine local business activity with national fundraising reach.

“The inspiration behind Paint it Pink came from a heartfelt journey of loss and a desire to make a difference,” said Mike Stone, president and chief executive officer of CertaPro Painters. He said the program reflects the company’s broader commitment to supporting employees, franchisees, and communities affected by breast cancer.

Beyond direct donations, the campaign is supported by local businesses that “paint themselves pink” to raise awareness in their communities. The company’s corporate team also contributes through internal fundraising efforts, including an annual step challenge, and by producing educational and awareness-focused content.

CertaPro said the sustained growth of Paint it Pink demonstrates how franchise-based businesses can mobilize local operators to support national causes while maintaining a consistent brand mission centered on community involvement.
